Established in Switzerland in 2008 by drummer Nicole Aravena and bassist Rodrigo Aravena, The Muscats play a unique blend of soul, jazz, blues, Latin, pop and R&B. Made up of only highly trained and experienced musicians and adaptable to almost any situation and venue, The Muscats will undoubtedly impress. After a two-year hiatus The Muscats are back with a brand new line-up!

The Music

The mix of jazz, blues, pop, Latin, R&B and funk along with interesting, original versions of well-known songs, is what makes the The Muscats unique.

Their diverse repertoire ranges from classic artists such as Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, Al Green, Aretha Franklin, Wilson Pickett, Michael Jackson, Bill Withers, The Beatles, Randy Crawford, Lionel Richie, Bob Marley, Ray Charles and Earth Wind & Fire all the way through to some of the latest pop, R&B artists such as Adele, Amy Winehouse, Lilly Allen, Norah Jones, Rihanna, Alicia Keys, Beyoncé, Bruno Mars, Aloe Black and many more. Added to this is a wealth of Jazz standards especially suitable for a more relaxed atmosphere.

The Band

From a quartet to an 8-piece (augmented with horns, percussion, etc.), The Muscats are able to please just about any audience. Whether it’s a dinner crowd, listening crowd, dancing crowd, or a mixture, this band is sure to entertain them all. Perfect for private parties and/or restaurant/bars with a mixed audience of both young and old, The Muscats have the look and sound to create a hip, smooth, funky and sophisticated atmosphere for your event.

Please note that at the client’s request, and depending on his/her needs, The Muscats can perform to their full ability with your choice of singers (Melly or Philippe). If requested, the band is also able to perform with both singers. And if required, The Muscats are also able to seamlessly add saxophone and/or trumpet, as well as a percussionist into the mix.
